“I recorded this particular program because of my love for baroque music, so when I had the opportunity to bring out my ideas, I tried to find out my favorite pieces of French and Italian repertoire – and developed a really wonderful CD, we recorded three Italian sonatas and Three French pieces to show the similarities and differences between the different musical directions, all six pieces are perfect examples of the French and Italian styles, with their peculiarities as well as their common origin. “- so the oboist Ramón Ortega Quero to his current ECHO Prize CD The oboist made an important hurdle when the conductor Daniel Barenboim took him into the “West-Eastern Diwan Orchestra” in 2003. In September 2007 he was named the first prize winner at the ARD Competition in Munich he has the place of solo oboist at the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks under chief conductor Mariss Jansons. The season 2010/11 was marked by his appointment as “Rising Star”, which led him to the great concert halls of Europe.
