Solo Musica Recording Partner Andreas Werner

Andreas Werner was born in South Africa in 1964. From 1985 to 1992, he studied audio engineering with a major in oboe at the Berlin University of the Arts (now UdK). He also received vocal training in Berlin and Lausanne. Already during his studies he participated in the RIAS-Kammerchor, in addition he became a member of the Kammerchor Stuttgart, the Gächinger Kantorei and the Balthasar-Neumann-Chor; To this day, a collaboration connects him with the latter, which leads him to concerts all over the world.

After graduation, he moved to Zurich, where he set up a consciously freelance work as sound engineer, producer and singer. Since 1994 permanent freelance sound engineer for Radio SRF Zurich and Basel, productions in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, China, Venezuela, Austria, Scandinavia and the USA, among others. for Sony, ECM, Universal, EMI, Naxos u.v.m., also film productions for television and independent labels. Producer of various complete recordings of symphonic works (Weingartner, Bruckner, Beethoven).

Freelance work also at MDR, SWR, and regular collaboration with well-known ensembles, orchestras and conductors. In addition, voice broadcasts in Radio DRS and numerous record prices. 2006 Foundation of the Silencium Musikproduktion GmbH and since spring 2006 lecturer for music transmission at the Hochschule für Musik Zürich. Between 2008 and 2010 participation in the management team of ZHdK-Records, 2009 nominated for Best Teaching of ZHdK.

Andreas Werner lives with his family in Winterthur.
