Anne Marie Dragosits

Born in the Tyrol, the harpsichordist Anne Marie Dragosits lives in Vienna. After studying with Wolfgang Glüxam in Vienna and Tini Mathot and Ton Koopman in The Hague, the sought-after soloist and passionate continuo player has performed with renowned ensembles such as vivante, barucco, the Munich Baroque Soloists, musica alchemica and l’Orfeo Baroque Orchestra all over Europe. In October 2016 she was appointed professor of harpsichord at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz.

Her special passion is the intense study of historical harpsichords. Her first solo CD
ITALIA! (on the label fra bernardo) was recorded on the original Giusti (1681) and a spinet by Veronensis (1564) at the Germanic National Museum in Nuremberg. She continues on this chosen path with the present recording, played on the Girolamo de Zenti of 1658, and with a recording of French high baroque literature on the Taskin (1787) owned by the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Hamburg, to be released in 2017.
